Artisans in Kenya's highlands hand carve these beautifully simple reversible cube candle holders from natural, undyed soapstone. The candle holder is designed to hold a standard taper candle on one side or a tea light candle on the other. Since soapstone can contain small veins of color from various minerals, each candle holders is completely one-of-a-kind.

About the Artisans:
Soapstone is mined in Kisii county in southwestern Kenya. We work with three different artisan groups in and around Nairobi who carve, polish and paint the stone to create beautiful pieces.
